
About ONSEP
The Ontario Network for Sustainable Energy Policy (ONSEP) is an annual workshop dedicated to the analysis and evaluation of sustainable energy policy. It brings together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and students to present new work, exchange ideas, and engage in interdisciplinary discussion on current and emerging energy policy issues in Ontario and beyond.

Call for Papers
The 2027 Call for Papers is now available! ONSEP welcomes unpublished working papers focused on the analysis and evaluation of energy policy, with particular interest in approaches to decarbonizing energy systems and advancing broader sustainability objectives. Submissions focused on Ontario are especially encouraged, alongside work examining energy policy in other jurisdictions. ONSEP welcomes a wide range of disciplinary perspectives and methods, including empirical research, theory, modelling, law, economics, sociology, planning, and experimental approaches.
