The Sustainable Energy Initiative at EUC presents: US Climate Policy in the Age of Trump.

The arrival of the second Trump administration has had a deeply destabilizing effect on U.S. climate and energy policies. The administration is moving forward with large-scale environmental policy rollbacks including efforts to block implementation of President Biden's signature climate laws and to withdraw from and even undermine international climate initiatives. In the result, state and local governments are again being thrust to center stage as the key actors in U.S. climate policy. The long-term outlook for climate action in the U.S. remains uncertain at this point.
